A few years ago we carried out an ambitious conversion of a 2,500 sq ft barn in Buckinghamshire. The owners had lavished much time, effort and money on restoring a 17th century old mill house and turning it into a beautiful family home.
The barn was on their land and they were keen that whoever they sold it to would carry out a sympathetic conversion of a high standard.
We were introduced to the owners by their land agent, Knight Frank.
From initial meeting to signing the deal took just six weeks.
The £2 million conversion project took just nine months to complete. The barn was sympathetically restored and converted into a stylish family home complete with its own bridge to a small island in the middle of the mill race.
