| Awkward ‘fill-in’ town centre sites are rarely the first choice for many property developers. Work on these sites needs careful scheduling, considerate builders and often more imagination than open sites with easy access.
One of our first town centre developments was in Salcombe, Devon. We built five new ‘holiday’ cottages in a prime position overlooking the estuary. Next, we converted a Victorian house into two holiday flats. Then we bought an even bigger house and converted that into seven flats. And finally, we converted a local school into a huge family house. |
